There are those principles that one stands for that are unyielding to political pressure or compromise. I personally feel the greatness of America is contingent on how well we promote and protect these core conservative values listed here. You can count on me to defend these principles as your elected official.
One of the things I am most proud of with regards to my legislative career is my perfect voting record when it comes to sanctity of life and protecting the unborn. Where there is no voice we must be the ones to take a stand. I commit to you to continue being an advocate for life!
Many of the problems our country faces could be solved with strong marriages and families. A loving mother and father who teach their children respect, hard work, compassion and loyalty to God and country will do more for America than any government program. I commit to defending the rights of responsible parents to raise children as they see fit and reject government intervention and mandates.
Living beyond our means is a bit of an oversimplification, but it is the best way to explain what has gotten us into our current predicament. We must not look to the government to take care of our every need. Personal responsibility must make a comeback. As the legislature's only CPA, I look forward to working with all vested parties to reform our tax structure, eliminate wasteful spending and lower the overall tax burden to promote a healthy business climate.
I am grateful to have a voting record that demonstrates my defense of the US Constitution. Whether it is supporting gun rights, States rights or citizen rights, I have consistently voted with my fellow conservatives to protect the American way of life. It is this document that continues to make America a land of promise for millions around the world. It is up to us as elected officials to not erode this inspired document. You have my commitment.
